Este projeto visa avaliar as condições de base para a implementação do produto
turístico party boat no Rio Minho, identificando um público-alvo, os seus interesses e
motivações, e ainda as características turísticas da região.
O Minho, pelas suas paisagens, pela sua história, pela sua diversidade geográfica,
e ainda por apresentar tradições e um variado património material e imaterial, está
perfeitamente apto para trazer uma experiência diferenciadora e dinâmica para o seu
conjunto. A água, e a náutica serão um complemento para proporcionar a realização do
party boat no Rio Minho.
Desta forma, foram utilizados métodos para facilitar a investigação e testar a sua
viabilidade, através de inquéritos por questionário aplicados na empresa Living Tours,
servindo de base analítica para este projeto, tendo em vista o sucesso deste produto
turístico.
Neste projeto foram analisados objetivos como, as características turísticas e a
oferta turística da região do Minho, avaliar a navegabilidade do Rio Minho, e identificar o
perfil do turista que procura este tipo de eventos como o party boat, relacionar com o
perfil do turista náutico, e ainda, as suas principais motivações e características.
Concluiu-se que, os últimos 33 quilómetros do Rio Minho são mais apropriados
para navegação, visto que, apresenta uma maior profundidade e um caudal maior. O
ideal seria implementar o party boat entre Vila Nova de Cerveira e Caminha.
Recomenda-se para estudos futuros que a amostra seja um pouco maior para
obter mais resultados, e para que a investigação não seja tão limitada. Ainda, apostar em
entrevistas direcionadas para este público-alvo, e implementar este estudo em novas
áreas e/ou regiões, de modo a verificar a sua viabilidade e comparar os resultados.
This project aims to assess the basic conditions for implementing a party boat tourism product on the River Minho, identifying a target audience, their interests and motivations, as well as the tourist characteristics of the region. The Minho, due to its landscapes, its history, its geographical diversity and its traditions and varied tangible and intangible heritage, is perfectly suited to bringing a differentiating and dynamic experience to the region. Water and boating will complement the party boat experience on the River Minho. In this way, methods were used to facilitate the research and test its viability, through questionnaire surveys of the Living Tours company, which will serve as the basis for analysis of this project, for the success of this tourism product. This project analyzed objectives such as the tourist characteristics and tourist offer of the Minho region, evaluating the navigability of the River Minho, and identifying the profile of the tourist looking for this type of event such as the party boat, relating it to the profile of the nautical tourist, as well as their main motivations and characteristics. It was concluded that the last 33 kilometers of the River Minho are more suitable for boating, as it is deeper and has a greater flow. The ideal would be to implement a party boat between Vila Nova de Cerveira and Caminha. For future studies, it is recommended that the sample be slightly larger to obtain more results and so that the research is not so limited. It would also be ideal to focus on interviews aimed at this target audience, and to implement this study in new areas and/or regions to verify its viability and compare the results.
