Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório Final de Estágio surge na sequência do trabalho desenvolvido no espaço da Prática Educativa, inserida no Mestrado em Ensino de Inglês e de Francês ou Espanhol no Ensino Básico. O tema concentra-se no uso do texto literário como fator promotor da aprendizagem de Língua Estrangeira (LE). Considero que uma língua é uma exteriorização do contexto cultural de um povo e de uma sociedade. A literatura tem a faculdade de contribuir para o desenvolvimento cultural do indivíduo. Assim, o objetivo deste Relatório é demonstrar que a literatura é um fator facilitador no processo de aquisição e aperfeiçoamento da LE, ampliando o interesse dos alunos pela língua e participando no seu processo de aprendizagem. A língua é um objeto complexo de aprendizagem e defendo que devem ser várias as competências articuladas a ser desenvolvidas aquando do estudo de uma LE. Assim, visando a aprendizagem da LE, concretamente da Língua Espanhola, foram aplicadas nas aulas da Prática Educativa atividades que permitiram aos alunos do 3º Ciclo do Ensino Básico contato com textos literários. Esta aproximação teve como objetivo o desenvolvimento da competência linguística, através do estudo de itens gramaticais, e da competência cultural, através do contacto e estudo do texto literário. O objetivo foi alertar os alunos para a noção de que a língua e a linguagem detêm um caráter instrumental essencial como meio de comunicação e também que compreendessem que, para além da questão formal, as mesmas são ricas em significado.
The current Final Practice Report results from a reflection carried out in the Educational Practice within the Mestrado em Ensino do Inglês e Francês ou Espanhol no Ensino Básico. The theme focuses on the potentiality of a cultural content approach concerning the learning of lexicon in a Foreign Language (FL) study. The present Final Practice Report results from the work developed in the Educational Practice, inserted in the Mestrado em Ensino do Inglês e Francês ou Espanhol no Ensino Básico. The theme focuses on the use of the literary text as a promoter of learning a Foreign Language (FL). I consider that a language is an exteriorization of the cultural context of a people and a society. Literature has the ability to contribute for the cultural development of the individual. Thus, the purpose of this Report is to demonstrate that literature is a facilitating fator in the process of acquisition and improvement of a FL, increasing students' interest in the language and participating in their learning process. Language is a complex object of learning and I argue that there should be several the articulated skills to be developed when studying a FL. Therefore, in order to learn a FL, specifically the Spanish Language, activities were applied in the classes of the Educational Practice that allowed the students of the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education the contact with literary texts. This approach aimed the development of the linguistic competence through the study of grammatical items and of the cultural competence, through the contact and study of the literary text. The goal was to alert the students to the notion that language has an essential instrumental character as a means of communication and also that the students understand that, beyond the formal question, language is rich in meaning.
