Abstract(s)
Começaremos a desenvolver o projeto prático seguindo todas as etapas metodológicas
prototipagem.
Graphic Design, both as an area of investigation as well as a determining agent in visual communication, is a powerful element in informational dissemination, ideological propagation. For these reasons, it has become increasingly recognized in several fields of society. This master’s project, called (PARCIAL), emerges as the result of an investigation of two distinct areas: visual communication and satire. This investigation involves a literature review where satire will be looked at throughout four great historical periods - determined in relation to the media technologies and social contexts that were dominant in each of them. Satire evolved throughout the eras, adapting to emerging media communication technologies. This study results in the creation of a “satirical object”, created in the form of a journal, which will serve as the platform for a series of works, which combine recurring satirical mechanisms and topologies that reflect on criticality as well as political and social action and communication. The project will be created following Design methodologies, going through different project phases - starting with literature, identifying specific characteristics for each era and going through diverse practical case studies where similar communication strategies were employed. We will begin to develop the practical project following all necessary methodological stages: sketching, experimentation, testing and finally, modelling and prototyping.
