Abstract(s)
This project aims to contribute to the investigation and exploration of artistic paths that are linked, among others, to the fields of sound art and the relationship between individuals and urban space. In this “among others”, an indicator of its interdisciplinarity, we highlight the aspects of theatricality/performativity, the exercise of textual creation and playing in the development of artistic processes in the children's school environment. From a methodological point of view, the project is in the domain of “action research”, in which the integration between theory and practice is linked to a constant reflective and evaluative process regarding developments in the classroom. The interventions proposed to the 6th D students at Escola Augusto Gil were also evaluated by them, so that the next steps in the creation of the artistic object depended, as far as possible, on a minimum consensus. As a result of this process, an artistic object called Alegria Audio Walk was created, which consists of an audiowalk lasting 12 minutes. In addition to this final object, some sound pieces and interventions were developed throughout the work, which will be exposed in this dissertation. In parallel with this exhibition of the artistic project carried out, we will take a theoretical-conceptual approach to contemporary artistic practices linked to our project, which consequently implies a brief exhibition and analysis of contemporary works and artists with whom our project dialogues.
