On Air, dar a ver é um programa radiofónico que resulta de um projecto de mestrado de investigação-acção em prática artística na área de som. Nesta monografia, sobre o mesmo, propõe-se uma re-escuta, primeiramente acompanhada por um Guião de Escuta que comenta cada bloco em que se subdividiu o programa, organizado por sentidos estéticos e conteúdos.
Deixa-se, ainda, ‘no ar’ a vontade de revisitar o novo ao seu tempo. Seguidamente, acrescentam-se algumas considerações sobre a Rádio, que de algum modo reverberam em On Air, dar a ver. Neste capítulo, dá-se conta das contribuições de várias personalidades que viveram o aparecimento da rádio e reflectiram e/ou criaram sobre/para este novo media: R. Arnheim, W. Benjamin, T. Adorno, B. Brecht.
No quarto capítulo, recontam-se estórias da História da Rádio, que demonstram o poder deste media, protagonizadas por nomes como A. Artaud, S. Beckett, O. Wells, Milo Rau, entre outros.
Acrescentam-se, também, algumas notas sobre o processo de construção estética e técnica do programa.
Por fim, enunciam-se as diferentes fases de criação de On Air, dar a ver na sua relação com os possíveis formatos de apresentação e revisitam-se pontos de partida para a pesquisa prática, à luz das sensações provocadas no eu-ouvinte.
On Air, dar a ver (to be seen) is a radio program that results from an action-research master's project in artistic practice in the area of sound. In this monograph, it is proposed a re-listening, first accompanied by a Listening Guide that comments on each block in which the program was subdivided, organized by aesthetic meanings and contents. The desire to revisit the novelty within its own time is still left ‘in the air’. Then, some considerations about the Radio are added, that somehow reverberate in On Air, dar a ver. In this chapter, the contributions of several personalities who experienced the emergence of radio and reflected and/or created about/for this new media are noted: R. Arnheim, W. Benjamin, T. Adorno, B. Brecht. In the fourth chapter, stories from the History of Radio are recounted, which demonstrate the power of this media, carried out by names such as A. Artaud, S. Beckett, O. Wells, Milo Rau, among others. Some notes on the program's aesthetics and technical construction process are also added. Finally, the different phases of the production of On Air, dar a ver are enunciated in their relationship with the possible presentation formats and some of the starting points for practical research are revisited in the light of the affects provoked in the I-listener.
