Abstract(s)
Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), as any child, deserve an inclusive education of quality. This requires specialized teachers, but also properly prepared regular education teachers. Thus, you must create the conditions so that all teachers know and apply strategies and procedures to provide all students the best conditions and opportunities to develop the most of their academic and social skills. This study describes the development, implementation and evaluation of a program b-learning, designed to empower education professionals about educational practices that have caused positive effect on the inclusion of children with ASD. The training program had the following objectives: a) increase knowledge of the characteristics of ASD and educational practices used with these children and b) change the attitudes of teachers against the inclusion of children with ASD. The study included 61 people, including regular education teachers and students of teacher training courses. The assessment of the effects of the program was conducted through a questionnaire on knowledge and attitudes, answered before and after program. The results of this study suggested that the program was effective, helping regular education teachers and students of teacher training to develop and improve their skills and knowledge. Most participants showed satisfaction with the program b-learning.
