Este documento resulta do culminar do Mestrado em Design da Escola
Superior de Media Artes e Design (ESMAD), do instituto Politécnico do Porto,
através da realização de um Estagio curricular, com duração de três meses, na
empresa Vergadela Interiores.
Sob orientação do Professor Abel Tavares (docente da ESMAD) e com a
tutoria de Sónia Carmo (Designer de Produto/Interiores) da entidade de
acolhimento, realizou—se o presente relatório, com a finalidade de descrever todo o
percurso e contexto da experiência curricular.
0 Estágio, que tem como foco pôr em prática as competências adquiridas
anteriormente e obtenção de novos conhecimentos, que transcendem os
alcançados de forma académica, permitiu conhecer a realidade laboral através da
execução de espaços e projetos reais, desde o seu processo criativo até a sua
implantação final. Paralelamente possibilitou, através do desenvolvimento de um
processo ativo de investigação e pesquisa, abordar duas grandes tematicas atuais
na area de Design de interiores, como a sustentabilidade e reabilitação, a fim de
acompanhar de forma crítica e sustentada, todo o processo.
Em suma, este relatório documenta informações sobre a empresa e toda a
experiência laboral, relatando todos os acontecimentos profissionais, bem como as
conquistas e obstáculos encontrados durante o Estágio.
This document results from the culmination of the Master in Design of the School of Media Arts and Design (ESMAD), of Instituto Politécnico do Porto, through the completion of a curricular internship, lasting three months, in the company Vergadela Interiores. Under the guidance of Professor Abel Tavares (ESMAD teacher) and with the tutoring of Sónia Carmo (Product Designer/Interiors) of the host entity, this report was made with the purpose of describing the whole course and context of the curricular experience. The internship, which focuses on putting into practice the skills previously acquired and obtaining new knowledge, which transcend those achieved academically, allowed to know the working reality through the implementation of real spaces and projects, from its creative process to its final implementation. At the same time it allowed, through the development of an active process of investigation and research, to address two major current themes in the Interior Design area, such as sustainability and rehabilitation, in order to follow critically and sustainably, the whole process. In short, this report documents information about the company and the whole work experience, reporting all the professional events, as well as the achievements and obstacles encountered during the internship.
