Parenteral nutrition (PN) compounding is one of the most challenging and high-risk tasks in hospital pharmacy, demanding continuous training and evaluation. This study aimed to develop and validate an asynchronous and pioneering educational tool for assessing competencies in PN compounding. The methodology included a structured literature search to identify critical content and errors, which served as the foundation for the video script. The script was validated using the Delphi method, involving two rounds, and subsequently, a "chamber of errors" video was filmed in a real cleanroom, ensuring maximum realism. The main results of the study were the identification of 86 relevant publications and the robust validation of the script, which achieved an 80% consensus among a panel of 33 experts with proven experience. The final outcome was the creation of a visual and practical resource that incorporates 14 deliberate errors, designed to promote continuous training and evaluation of knowledge. This tool validated by experts in the field represents a significant contribution to the community, with the potential to minimize risks, ensure the quality of adopted techniques, and optimize patient safety, filling an identified gap in professional training in this area.
