Abstract(s)
Analisa-se a gestão de resultados da educação de jovens e adultos numa
escola da rede pública do município de Paço do Lumiar – Maranhão situado
no perímetro urbano da Grande São Luís, tendo por base os dados do
abandono escolar que, hoje em dia, se refletem na educação em geral.
Tomamos como referência as reflexões assumidas por especialistas nesta
temática, bem como os documentos oficiais que orientam a educação de
jovens e adultos no Brasil. Partindo de questionamentos que orientam a
consecução da gestão de resultados na EJA, definimos os objetivos da
pesquisa e escolhemos a metodologia adequada ao caso qual seja a de cunho
qualitativo recorrendo à observação com base na qual foi construído o guião
da entrevista semiestruturada destinada aos alunos do EJA categorizados
como evadidos e frequentes. Foram elaborados questionários aplicados aos
alunos evadidos e frequentes, gestores e professores, vista a compreensão
das categorias e variáveis selecionadas a partir da pesquisa de campo. Com os
dados analisados, foi possível concluir que a gestão de resultados na EJA ainda
não pode ser concluída devido a prática do pensamento liberal-conservador e
do paradigma positivista que vem determinando o modo de gerir as ações
educativas na educação dos jovens e adultos com características
essencialmente classificatórias, recorrendo a ferramentas que primam pela
quantificação dos resultados e não pela qualidade do ensino e aprendizagem
desenvolvido. Por essa razão, seria importante que gestores e professores
refletissem sobre as práticas pedagógicas e didáticas desenvolvidas na escola
que dizem respeito aos alunos da EJA para que, em conjunto, promovam a
permanência dos alunos e sua melhoria nas aprendizagens prestada pela
instituição, dando, assim, um novo sentido à práxis docente.
Analyzes the management of youth education results and adults in the public school Lumiar Palace of municipality - Maranhão located in the urban area of Greater St. Louis, based on the data of truancy that, nowadays, if reflected in education in general. We take as reference the reflections taken by specialists in this subject, as well as the official documents that guide the education of young people and adults in Brazil. Starting with questions that guide the achievement of results management in adult education, we defined the research objectives and choose the appropriate methodology to the case which is the qualitative nature using observation based on which was built the script for the semi-structured interview aimed at students EJA categorized as evaded and frequent. Questionnaires were applied to evaded and frequent students, managers and teachers, in order to understand the categories and variables selected from the field research. With the data analyzed, it was possible to conclude that the management of results in the EJA cannot yet be concluded due to the practice of liberal-conservative thinking and the positivist paradigm that has determined the way to manage educational actions in the education of young people and adults with characteristics essentially classificatory, using tools that focus on the quantification of results and not on the quality of teaching and learning developed. For this reason, it is important that managers and teachers reflect on the pedagogical and didactic practices developed at the school which relate to adult education of students to jointly promote the permanence of the students and their improvement in the learning provided by the institution, thus giving , a new meaning to teacher praxis.
