A capacidade de uma empresa competir e sobreviver num ambiente de globalização
torna-se dependente de ter as pessoas certas, os sistemas de aprendizagem profissional
adequados e ótimas medidas para recompensar a efetividade da empresa. A atração,
desenvolvimento e retenção de talentos é uma necessidade atual e que não pode ser
descurada. As organizações devem, portanto, ter a capacidade de desenvolver
estratégias de atração e de retenção de talentos de forma a conseguirem distinguirem-se
da concorrência e ganharem vantagem competitiva.
Neste contexto, considerou-se como objetivo principal do presente trabalho estudar o
caso da atração e retenção de talento, enquanto prática estratégica de gestão de Recursos
Humanos no desenvolvimento e sucesso da empresa objeto de estudo.
Para isso, este relatório foi estruturado em três partes. Na primeira parte foi feita uma
revisão da literatura sobre a temática dos Recursos Humanos e das práticas formativas,
o capital humano e a atração, desenvolvimento e retenção de talento. Na segunda parte,
o estudo é focado na organização em análise e usou-se uma metodologia quantitativa
com recurso a questionários. Na terceira parte é apresentado um plano de melhoria para
o Maison Albar Hotels – Le Monumental Palace.

The attraction, development and retention of talents is a current need. Therefore, organizations must have the capacity to develop talent attraction and retention strategies to distinguish themselves from the competition and gain a competitive advantage. In this context, it was considered as the main objective of the present work, to study the case of attracting and retaining talent, as a strategic Human Resources management practice, in the development and success of the company under study.
