Este trabalho visa discutir a biblioteca multinível e sua contribuição para a aprendizagem dos alunos do Instituto Federal Farroupilha - IFFar. Tendo como questão de partida a seguinte pergunta: Qual o contributo das bibliotecas do IFFar para a aprendizagem dos alunos a partir das atividades promovidas pelo bibliotecário? Esta pesquisa situa-se no âmbito de uma investigação de métodos mistos, por combinar uma abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa; é de caráter exploratório porque procura conhecer as dinâmicas e as atividades implementadas nas bibliotecas do IFFar que mais têm contribuído para a melhoria da aprendizagem dos alunos. Tem como objetivos específicos: identificar os tipos de atividades de aprendizagem que os bibliotecários do IFFar desenvolvem; verificar de que forma a biblioteca contribui para a aprendizagem dos alunos, e criar uma proposta de planeamento de atividades que façam com que a biblioteca seja um local efetivo de aprendizagem dos alunos. Esta pesquisa tem dois tipos de público-alvo, nomeadamente, os bibliotecários e os alunos do campus Santo Augusto. No primeiro momento foram entrevistados os 11 bibliotecários que trabalham em cada biblioteca situada nos campi do IFFar. Em seguida, foram inquiridos por meio de inquérito por questionário os alunos do Campus Santo Augusto, cuja bibliotecária mais realizou ações. Os resultados evidenciaram que Bibliotecários inquiridos por entrevistas realizaram alguma atividade de aprendizagem, fossem elas de incentivo à leitura, de expressão e reflexão e de formação para uso de recursos web, assim como a compreensão da biblioteca. Essas atividades aconteceram, geralmente, no ambiente da biblioteca ou no laboratório de informática. Em relação aos alunos, foram aplicados 100 inquéritos por questionário, dos quais retornaram 57 inquéritos. A idade da maioria dos alunos respondentes situou-se entre os 15 e 25 anos sendo a maioria do Curso de Tecnologia em Alimentos. Do total de alunos, 91% dos alunos disseram conhecer as atividades realizadas, 86% já participaram de uma ou mais atividades de aprendizagem. Entre as atividades de maior frequência pelos alunos destacam-se a oficina de formação ABNT e o Projeto Biblioteca em Ação. Os relatos dos alunos foram bastante positivos em relação às atividades que participaram e que de fato contribuíram para a sua aprendizagem ao longo da vida. Nesse contexto, 65% dos alunos respondentes consideraram as atividades realizadas como ótimas e os outros 35% avaliaram como boas. Na análise e discussão dos resultados houve a triangulação entre os dados recolhidos, confirmando o contributo da biblioteca como local efetivo de aprendizagem e, ainda, que esta se configura como uma biblioteca multinível.
This work aims to discuss the multilevel library and its contribution to the learning of students from the Federal Institute Farroupilha - IFFar. Taking as point of departure the following question: What is the contribution of the IFFar libraries for student learning from the activities promoted by the librarian? This research is part of an investigation of mixed methods, by combining a quantitative and qualitative approach and there is an exploratory because it seeks to understand the dynamics and the activities implemented in the libraries of IFFar that have contributed to the improvement of student learning. Has as specific objectives: identify the types of learning activities that the librarians of IFFar develop, check that form the library contributes to the learning of students and create a proposal of planning activities that ensure that the library is an effective location of students learning. This research has two types of target public, in particular, the librarians and students of the Santo Augusto campus. At the first moment, 11 librarians who work in each library located on the campuses of IFFar were interview. Then, the students of the Santo Augusto Campus, whose librarian Rosa most performed actions, were surveyed through a questionnaire survey. The results showed that All librarians surveyed by interviews conducted some learning activity, be they reading, expression and reflection, and formation for use of web resources, as well as the understanding of the library. These activities usually took place in the library environment or in the computer lab. In relation to the students, 100 questionnaires were apply, which of 57 were return. The age of the majority of student respondents was between 15 and 25 years, and the majority of the course of technology in food. Of the total number of students, 91% of the students said they knew about the activities performed, 86% have already participated in one or more learning activities. Among the most frequent activities of the students are the ABNT training workshop and the Library in Action Project. The reports of the students were very positive in relation to the activities that participated and that in fact contributed to the learning that they will lead throughout life. As a result, 65% of the students interviewed considered the activities performed as excellent and the other 35% evaluated as good. In the analysis and discussion of the results, there was a triangulation between the data collected confirming the contribution of the library as an effective place of learning.
