Abstract(s)
O principal objetivo da presente investigação passa por compreender a experiência
dos profissionais de recursos humanos, da geração millennial, no setor IT. Paralelamente
procurou-se junto dos entrevistados perceber quais os principais fatores que consideram
ter influência na sua experiência pessoal e profissional dentro das organizações.
Na presente investigação privilegiou-se uma metodologia qualitativa, recorrendo
à tecnica da entrevista semiestruturada de forma a efectuar a recolha dos dados
necessários. Realizaram-se dez entrevistas, sendo que todos os entrevistados são
profissionais de recursos humanos da geração millennial, no setor IT. Posteriormente
procedeu-se a análise e tratamento da informação recolhida ao longo das entrevistas,
tendo por base a análise de conteúdo e categorização da informação, tendo por base
Grounded Theory.
Os resultados obtidos demonstram que os profissionais de recursos humanos da
geração millennial, no setor IT, mostram-se satisfeitos e caracterizam as suas experiências
dentro das organizações positivas e enriquecedoras. Para além disto, ao longo das
entrevistas realizadas foi possivel constatar que existe um conjunto de fatores que esta
geração priveligia e valoriza no mercado de trabalho nos dias de hoje.
Na parte final desta investigação, é possível verificar uma reflexão em torno das
principais conclusões e implicações do estudo assim como algumas limitações associadas
ao tema. Posteriormente, são ainda evidenciadas algumas sugestões para futuras
investigações.
The main objective of this research is to understand the experience of human resources professionals of the millennial generation in the IT sector. At the same time, it was sought to understand from the interviewees which factors they consider to have an influence on their personal and professional experience within organizations. In this research a qualitative methodology was preferred, using the semi structured interview technique in order to collect the necessary data. Ten interviews were conducted, being that all the interviewees are human resources professionals of the millennial generation, in the IT sector. Subsequently, we proceeded with the analysis and treatment of the information collected throughout the interviews, based on content analysis and categorization of the information, based on Grounded Theory. The results obtained show that human resources professionals of the millennial generation, in the IT sector, are satisfied and characterize their experiences within organizations as positive and enriching. Furthermore, during the interviews it was possible to see that there is a set of factors that this generation priveligates and values in today's job market. In the final part of this research, it is possible to verify a reflection around the main conclusions and implications of the study as well as some limitations associated with the theme. Subsequently, some suggestions for future research are also highlighted.
