Abstract(s)
Com a globalização do mercado, existe uma exigência de novas abordagens em termos da
questão de qualidade e de produtividade. Uma adequada gestão da qualidade tem uma forte
contribuição para estimular a competitividade e para garantir a sobrevivência das empresas no
ambiente de grande competição atualmente observado.
Posto isto, esta dissertação, desenvolveu-se em contexto de estágio na Flamingo – Indústria de
Ourivesaria S.A., mais especificamente na área de produção da mesma. O trabalho teve como
principal objetivo, analisar os processos de produção para proceder à identificação de possíveis
propostas de melhoria e fontes de desperdício, para posteriormente se implementar soluções de
melhoria e identificar qual foi o impacto das mesmas na produtividade da empresa.
De forma a dar solução a alguns problemas identificados e eliminar os desperdícios, contribuindo
para um aumento do grau de satisfação dos clientes, foram aplicados os conceitos e ferramentas
da produção Lean.
Tal como mencionado acima, foram analisados os processos de produção da empresa e, após isso,
foram propostas alterações de melhoria, com base em conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo do
curso, tendo-se, avançado, posteriormente, para a implementação das propostas, tais como:
criação de ordens de produção, criação de um espaço para a colocação das ordens de produção
por marca, criação de uma zona de espera para verificação de qualidade dos produtos, criação de
um método para organizar as personalizações e corte na gravação, elaboração de um método
para a determinação de prioridade de produção e aplicação da ferramenta 5S nas bancas no setor
das pratas finas.
As propostas de melhoria apresentadas possibilitarão à empresa uma melhor organização da
gestão de produção, processos melhorados que evitam os desperdícios. Mais especificamente,
darão ao departamento da gestão e controlo de produção uma melhor perceção de como definir
prioridades na produção, uma melhor perceção dos produtos prioritários, processos mais fluídos
e intuitivos e um melhor aproveitamento dos espaços de trabalho.
With the globalization of the market, there is a demand for new approaches in terms of the issue of quality and productivity. An adequate quality management has a strong contribution to stimulate competitiveness and to ensure the survival of companies in the current competitive environment. Having said that, this dissertation was developed during a traineeship at Flamingo - Indústria de Ourivesaria S.A., more specifically in its production area. The main objective of this work was to analyze the production processes to identify possible improvement proposals and waste sources, to subsequently implement improvement solutions and to identify their impact on the company's productivity. In order to solve some identified problems and eliminate waste, contributing to an increase in the degree of customer satisfaction, the concepts and tools of Lean Production were applied. As mentioned above, the company's production processes were analyzed and, after that, improvement changes were proposed, based on the knowledge acquired during the course: creation of production orders, creation of a space for placing production orders by brand, creation of a waiting area for checking product quality, creation of a method for organizing customizations and cutting the engraving, elaboration of a method for determining production priority and application of the 5S tool in the stalls in the fine silverware sector. The improvement proposals presented will enable the company to better organize production management, optimized processes that avoid waste. More specifically, they will give the production management and control department a better understanding of how to prioritize production, a better understanding of priority products, more fluid and intuitive processes, and better use of workspaces.
