Abstract(s)
A globalização mudou o contexto de trabalho, permitindo uma maior mobilidade, um
maior acesso a oportunidades de trabalho a nível global e por consequente, as
organizações de trabalho estão cada vez mais diversificadas, tornando necessário
percecionar, de que forma as práticas de gestão e desenvolvimento de recursos humanos
podem ter impacto na gestão da diversidade. Gestão esta que procura valorizar estas
diferenças, sabendo que as mesmas podem acrescentar valor às organizações de trabalho.
Este estudo surge pela necessidade de percecionar a produção cientifca existente sobre a
gestão da diversidade na área da gestão e desenvolvimento de recursos humanos.
A revisão sistemática da literatura foi o método escolhido para procurar dar resposta a
esta questão. Salientando, que a amostra presente neste trabalho corresponde a 404
artigos, publicados entre 2017 e 2023.
Os resultados mostram que este tema tem tido uma produção cientifica crescente
significativa todos os anos, com exceção do ano de 2019, sendo que os Estados Unidos
da América e o Reino Unido são os países que mais publicam e são alvo de estudo. É de
salientar que a diversidade, a inclusão e o género são dos temas mais estudados, sendo
que em termos de grupos sociais, o género, a comunidade LGBT, a etnia e a idade, foram
os mais estudados, sendo que o género tem um papel de destaque entre estes.
Adicionalmente, dentro da gestão e desenvolvimento de recursos humanos, o
recrutamento, o bem-estar do trabalhador e da satisfação no trabalho foram os mais
estudados.
Relativamente à realidade portuguesa, os resultados revelam uma produção científica de
6 artigos durante este período, sendo que o ano de 2022 foi o ano com maior produção
científica. A idade, teve grande destaque e dentro da gestão e desenvolvimento de
recursos humanos houve um maior foco no engagement, o comprometimento,
performance e identificação com a organização.

Management that seeks to value these differences, knowing that they can add value to work organizations. This paper emerges from the need to understand what literature exists when it comes to diversity management in management and development of human resources. The method chosen to search and provide an answer to this need was a systematic review of the literature. The sample is constituted of 404 articles, published between 2017 and 2023. The results obtained show that this theme has had a significant increase in terms of publishing, with the exception of 2019, with the United States of America and the United Kingdom being the countries that most publish and are the most studied. Diversity, inclusion and gender are the most studies themes, but when it comes to social groups the LGBT community, gender, ethnicity and age were the most studied, with gender being more highlighted. Additionally, within management and development of human resources, recruitment, employee´s well-being and work satisfaction were the most studied. When it comes to the portuguese reality, within the period defined, 6 articles were published, with 2022 being the year that had the most papers published. Age, was the big stand out and within management and development of human resources, engagement, commitment, performance and identifying with the Organization were the topics most studied.
