Digital Transformation (DT) has proven to be increasingly decisive for the competitiveness and sustainability of organisations, influencing the way they structure processes, relate to customers and respond to market challenges. This study sought to analyse the central dimensions of DT in depth, identifying the practices implemented, the motivations, the stakeholders involved, the strategies adopted and the main challenges faced. The research was based on a qualitative analysis of business documents and reports, which provided an understanding of the trends and priorities in digital implementation. The results indicate that DT contributes to improving customer experience and satisfaction, increasing operational efficiency, and strategic data and cybersecurity management. It is clear that the achievement of digital transformations depends on a structured approach that combines appropriate strategies and practices, as well as the involvement of stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and promoting continuous innovation. Among the most relevant stakeholders are partners, external consultants, and internal functions specialised in supporting digital implementation. In terms of motivations, the strengthening of organisational culture, the exploitation of market opportunities, the adoption of new technologies and the reinforcement of digital security stand out. Despite the benefits, organisations face significant challenges, particularly in technological integration, data governance, change management and the increasing complexity of processes. This study offers a practical perspective on DT, systematising critical factors, responsibilities, and priorities, highlighting the importance of a coordinated and results-oriented approach. The analysis contributes to understanding how organisations can effectively structure and implement digital transformations, balancing strategic objectives, operational needs, and available resources.
