Abstract(s)
A globalização e internacionalização impulsionam a tradução. Devido às mesmas, nasce uma necessidade crescente de traduções com maiores volumes, com mais urgência e com mais qualidade. Todos estes fatores proporcionam o ambiente ideal para a utilização das ferramentas de apoio à tradução, para que os tradutores consigam dar resposta a estas exigências.
O presente relatório de estágio curricular tem como objetivo descrever as atividades realizadas e o conhecimento adquirido no decorrer do estágio curricular, realizado na empresa SMARTIDIOM, com o recurso de várias ferramentas de apoio à tradução.
Numa primeira parte, é abordada a história e constituição da empresa, as funções desempenhadas e as metodologias adotadas.
Numa segunda parte, são abordadas as ferramentas de apoio à tradução, as suas vantagens e desvantagens e a importância das mesmas na formação de um tradutor. Neste mesmo capítulo, são também referidas todas as ferramentas de apoio à tradução utilizadas durante o estágio curricular e todos os procedimentos realizados no papel de estagiária.
Finalmente, são analisados vários exemplos de traduções realizadas no decorrer dos seis meses de estágio.
