Abstract(s)
School failure has been recognized and addressed for several decades as a problem in current education systems, whose work and focus have been developed to combat it. It is therefore pertinent to understand the role of Multidisciplinary Teams for Inclusive Education Support in this process, as well as the results of their intervention. This study conducted a case study with this objective in mind, using a qualitative approach, with semi-structured interviews and focused discussion groups as data collection methods. The main results show, on the one hand, that the work carried out by these teams is undoubtedly essential for students and for the school and, on the other hand, the impact that family and socioeconomic context have on school failure.
