Esta Dissertação de Mestrado em Património, Artes e Turismo Cultural, debruça-se sobre o estudo comparativo das coleções de armas de fogo Marciano Azuaga e da Casa Museu Marta Ortigão Sampaio.
Ao longo do trabalho fazemos uma abordagem histórica e técnica de Portugal e das suas armas de fogo, para demonstrar a influência que teve sobre as coleções. Também fazemos uma abordagem ao colecionismo e à história da legislação de armas de fogo em Portugal.
Aproveitando dois trabalhos realizados sobre as coleções, fazemos uma apresentação das coleções e fazemos uma comparação de ambas e dos respetivos colecionadores.
This dissertation in Mestrado em Património, Artes e Turismo Cultural, is a comparative study about the firearms collection Marciano Azuaga and Casa Museu Marta Ortigão Sampaio. Throughout the work we do a history and technical approach about Portugal and their firearms, to show the influence that had on the collections. We also do an approach on collecting and history of firearms legislation in Portugal. Taking the advantage of the two work about the collections we do an presentation of the collection and comparison of both and their collectors.
