dc.description.abstractCada vez mais as novas tecnologias têm efeitos generalizados em grande parte dos negócios como vantagem competitiva, e está cada vez mais a ser aplicado em novas e diversas áreas, incluindo na Gestão de Recursos Humanos (GRH). A Realidade Virtual (RV) e a Realidade Aumentada (RA), através de equipamentos próprios, têm como principal caraterística recriar a sensação de realidade, dando a possibilidade de o indivíduo integrar um ambiente tridimensional executando ações ou manipulando objetos enquanto usa a aplicação. Por conseguinte, a RV/RA poderá ser uma tecnologia com grande potencial em Gestão e Desenvolvimento de Recursos Humanos. Este trabalho tem como objetivo perceber e apresentar as potencialidades da RV/RA na GRH e no processo de Onboarding em particular. Metodologicamente foram realizados 2 estudos, no primeiro fez-se uma revisão sistemática da literatura relacionando RV/RA com GRH e com Onboarding e no segundo estudo realizou-se uma análise de conteúdo online relacionando a RV/RA e Onboarding. Os resultados obtidos sugerem que a comunidade científica não se tem debruçado sobre o tema, sendo a produção científica escassa, mas em contrapartida os resultados da análise de conteúdos online demonstram que a RV/RA é cada vez mais utilizada no Onboarding de novos colaboradores, havendo já algumas empresas com o processo implementado e empresas a desenvolver e comercializar produtos para o efeito. Assim, podemos considerar este estudo pioneiro dentro deste âmbito com contribuições para a literatura científica, assim como para as organizações, para as quais se apresentam sugestões da utilização da RV/RA no processo de Onboarding.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractNew technologies are causing widespread impact on businesses and emerging as a competitive advantage, being increasingly applied in new and diverse areas, such as Human Resources Management. The main goal of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies is to recreate the sensation of reality, giving the individual the possibility of integrating a three-dimensional environment by performing actions or manipulating objects while using the application. Therefore, VR/AR could have great potential/be used as a beneficial tool in Human Resource Management and Development. Methodologically, there were two studies: in the first, systematic review of the literature regarding the two themes was conducted. In the second, online content related to VR and AR Onboarding was analyzed. The results suggest that the scientific community has not addressed the topic, and scientific production is scarce, but, by contrast, the results of online content analysis show that VR/AR is being increasingly used in the Onboarding of new employees. The analysis showed that there are already some companies implementing the process and other developing marketing products for the purpose. Thus, we can consider this pioneering study within this scope with contributions to the scientific literature, as well to the organizations, for which are mention vantages of the use of VR/AR on Onboarding process.pt_PT
