Neste artigo, teço uma análise comparativa entre o guião Angélica, escrito pelo
realizador português Manoel de Oliveira, e o filme que este fez, baseado no referido
argumento, 56 anos depois. Para tal, examino os códigos técnico-compositivo e
semântico-pragmático tanto do texto literário como do cinematográfico, estabelecendo
relações significativas, semelhanças e diferenças entre ambos, no contexto da
transposição intersemiótica. Neste sentido, recorro a outros filmes, a entrevistas
concedidas por Manoel de Oliveira e à opinião de vários especialistas.
In this article, I establish a comparative analysis between the script of Angélica, written by Portuguese director Manoel de Oliveira, and the film he made based upon it, 56 years later. To do so, I examine the technical-compositive and semantic-pragmatic codes of both the literary and the cinematic text, establishing meaningful relationships, differences and similarities between them, in the context of intersemiotic transposition. In this sense, I resort to other films, interviews granted by Manoel de Oliveira, and to the opinion of several specialists.
