Abstract(s)
O projeto de educação e intervenção social apresentado neste relatório denomina-se “O sol a brilhar”, assenta na metodologia de investigação-ação participativa, envolvendo os sujeitos desde a sua conceção, e parte do pressuposto de que estes são, efetivamente, os agentes da mudança. O projeto foi desenvolvido no Centro de Acolhimento Temporário “Casa do Sol”. Esta instituição tem como objetivo o acolhimento institucional de jovens em situação de risco ou perigo, com idades compreendidas entre os 12 e os 18 anos. Este Projeto decorreu entre outubro de 2015 e julho de 2016. Num primeiro momento da análise da realidade as equipas profissionais e os jovens identificaram três problemas: conflitos relacionais entre os jovens, falta de atenção individualizada e personalizada e dificuldades no percurso escolar. Explorados os problemas e elencadas as necessidades, foi então definida a finalidade do Projeto: melhorar a qualidade de vida dos jovens do CAT, a partir do desenvolvimento de uma relação interpessoal mais positiva entre os jovens e a valorização e desenvolvimento das suas competências pessoais, sociais e acadêmicas. Os exercícios de dinâmica de grupo e o acompanhamento educativo individualizado foram as estratégias utilizadas nas duas ações do projeto: “Jogos para crescer” e “Superar os desafios”. Ao longo do desenvolvimento das ações foram surgindo alguns obstáculos e as sucessivas avaliações exigiram o ajustamento da planificação às características do grupo, o que permitiu que os objetivos definidos no desenho do projeto fossem parcialmente atingidos. No final, os jovens revelam maior preocupação com os outros, uma atitude pró-social e preocupação com as consequências das suas ações; são mais capazes de valorizar-se, a si e aos outros, de gerir os seus comportamentos a partir da análise do seu impacto na relação com o outro. Também, ao nível do estudo, os jovens que participaram no projeto adotaram novas estratégias de estudo de acordo com as suas necessidades.
The educational and social intervention project presented in this report, is called "the sun shining", and, is based in the participative action-investigation methodology, involving the subjects from its conception, and, assuming from the beginning that, they are, effectively, the agents of the change. This project was developed at the “House of Sun”, a temporary shelter center, aiming the institutional care of young people at risk or danger, aged between 12 and 18 years. The development of this project began in October 2015 and ended in July 2016. At a first moment of the analysis of reality, as subjects of this social reality, the professional team and the young people identified three problems: interpersonal conflicts among youth, lack of individualized and personalized attention and difficulties in schooling. It was defined as the purpose of the Project, to improve the young people's quality life of the temporary shelter, based on the development of a more positive interpersonal relation between the young people and, valorization of their personal, social and academic competences. The group dynamic exercises, and the individualized educational monitoring were the strategies adopted in both actions of the project: "Growing games" and "overcoming challenges". Throughout the development of the actions some obstacles were shown up and, the successive evaluations required the adjustment of the planning to the group's characteristics, which allowed that the defined objectives in the drawing of the project were partially achieved. In the end, young people showed greater concern for the others, a pro-social attitude and concern about the consequences of their actions; they showed a bigger capability to value themselves, the others and to manage their behavior by analyzing its impact on the relationship with the others. Moreover, at the study level, the young people who participated in the project, adopted new strategies of study according with their needs.
