Abstract(s)
Atualmente, a Gestão de Risco é considerada uma necessidade primordial nas
organizações, sendo encarada como um processo de atuação eficaz para responder a
ameaças e incertezas relacionadas com as Importações do Aço Inoxidável.
O Aço Inoxidável é composto por uma panóplia de matérias-primas em que a sua
principal característica é a alta resistência à oxidação atmosférica. Desde a sua descoberta,
o consumo do Aço Inoxidável em Portugal tem vindo a aumentar consideravelmente ao
longo das últimas décadas.
Portugal não possui fábricas produtoras de Aço Inoxidável, no que concerne ao objeto
deste estudo, assim a importação torna-se inevitável. Todos os processos de importação,
independentemente do setor, dispõem de uma série de Riscos, que é essencial identificar
e planear a sua mitigação. As Importações do Aço Inoxidável acarretam um Risco
acrescido para as organizações do setor, porque para além do controlo de todos os custos
inerentes a um processo de importação, é fundamental ter em consideração a variação do
preço das matérias-primas, fruto da sua volatilidade, que se reflete no preço do produto
final.
Deste modo, centralizamos esta dissertação na compreensão e ligação de três pontos:
Gestão de Risco, Processo de Importação e Setor do Aço Inoxidável, com o objetivo de
conhecer, compreender e enumerar medidas, a fim de minimizar os Riscos de uma
importação.
A seguir a uma pesquisa bibliográfica, foram elaborados dois questionários destinados a
empresas do setor abordando a temática.
Após a recolha de dados, realizou-se a conclusão do estudo que contém as limitações
encontradas do mesmo e sugestão de pistas para futuras investigações.
Nowadays, Risk Management is consider a main need to our organizations, being seen as an effective action process, in order to answer to near threats and uncertains, related with Stainless Steel Imports. Stainless Steel is made with a set of raw materials, and his main point is his strong resistance to the atmospheric oxidation. Since his discover, the use of Stainless Steel in Portugal, has being increased on the last decades. In our country, there are no mills producing Stainless Steel , matter that this study speaks about, so this way the Imports became inevitable. All the Imports process, no matter wich setor we are taking about, contain serious Risks, that we must identify and plan, in order to avoid his troubles. Stainless Steel Imports, brings with them an extra Risk for the setor companies, because hereafter all the costs that an import process brings, is fully importante count with raw material oscilations, that apears related with hight volatility that is rellected on the final price. By this way, we center our study on the understanding and conection of three points: Risk Management, Imports process and Stainless Steel setor, trying to reach the knowlegment and undestanding, by choosing measures to minimise the Imports Risk. After we do a biblioghraphic research, we made two questionares, directly related with setor companies, speaking about theme. After collect the dates, have been made a study conclusion, with some limitations found, and suggesting clues to future investigation.
