dc.description.abstract	Este Ensaio, sobre a Direção de Atores, proposto para tese de Mestrado em Comunicação Audiovisual, nas vertentes de Produção e Realização, pretende explorar as técnicas habitualmente utilizadas no trabalho com atores, em particular no cinema, comparativamente com o caso prático onde elas foram aplicadas: a curta-metragem de ficção [in]versos que realizámos como complemento do trabalho teórico. Partindo do estudo das principais metodologias usadas na direção de atores, em particular as desenvolvidas por Stanislavsky, aquelas que julgamos serem a base da qual a maioria das restantes técnicas derivam, estudaram-se os momentos fulcrais do processo de realização de um filme, no que respeita à direção de atores por parte do realizador: o casting, os ensaios e a rodagem. Este estudo teórico, que justifica as escolhas e decisões práticas no filme [in]versos, torna claro, a nosso ver, que apesar das ideias cristalizadas pelas principais teorias sobre o tema, é sobretudo a experiencia particular de cada realizador, tendo em conta as características do argumento e os atores envolvidos, que faz verdadeiramente potenciar o trabalho de representação num filme.	pt_PT
dc.description.abstract	This Essay on the Direction of Actors, proposed Master Thesis in Audiovisual Communication in the areas of Production and Direction, will explore the techniques commonly used to work with actors, particularly in cinema, compared with the case study where they were applied: a short fiction film [in]versos that was performed as a complement to the theoretical work. Based on the study of the main methodologies used in the directing actors, particularly those developed by Stanislavsky, methodology that we believe are the basis from which most other techniques derive, we studied the key moments of the process of making a film, in respect to the direction of actors by the director: the casting, rehearsals and filming. This theoretical study that justifies the choices and decisions in the [in]versos short-film makes clear, in our view, that despite the ideas crystallized by the main theories on the subject, it is mostly the particular experience of each director, taking into account the characteristics of the argument and the actors involved, which truly enhance the work of representation in a film.	pt_PT
