This report analyses the sound supervision and post-production of the short film Seja o que Eu quiser, based on the idea that sound does not merely accompany the image but actively participates in the construction of the narrative, and seeks to understand how sound supervision, through the construction of the soundscape, contributes to film narrative. The theoretical framework draws on three authors: R. Murray Schafer, with the concept of soundscape; Michel Chion, with the audio-vision relationship and offscreen sound; and David Sonnenschein, with the sensory and emotional dimension of listening. Methodologically, the research is developed as a case study centred on the film, articulating theoretical reflection and artistic practice, and describes the entire sound process, from planning to delivery. The critical analysis of concrete scenes demonstrates how recording, editing and mixing decisions participate in the construction of space, in its expansion beyond the frame and in the spectator's relationship with the characters, confirming the structural role of sound and the soundscape in the work.
