Com o aparecimento das primeiras Organizações Sem Fins Lucrativos surgiu a interesse em compreender quais os motivos que levariam outras entidades a investir nelas, e que benefícios trariam para determinados grupos sociais. Atualmente, com o grande crescimento do setor não lucrativo, torna-se primordial estabelecer planos e estratégias que garantam uma gestão eficaz que permita às organizações subsitir. Para além disso, e motivada pelo avanço tecnológico, impõe-se cada vez mais a necessidade adaptar os meios comunicacionais para garantir a satisfação do público.
O presente relatório de estágio descreve o decorrer da minha experiência enquanto estagiária, compreendida entre 21 de outubro de 2024 e de 31 de dezembro de 2024, no Centro Cultural e Desportivo dos Trabalhadores da Câmara Municipal do Porto, uma instituição coletiva de utilidade pública sem fins lucrativos. O objetivo-base deste estágio incidiu sobre as áreas da comunicação, gestão e administração, com ênfase no desenvolvimento e otimização de estratégias aplicadas aos diferentes serviços do CCDTCMP.
Na equipa dos serviços administrativos fui responsável pela gestão dos canais de comunicação, pelo apoio no planeamento e execução das atividades e eventos, e pelas tarefas administrativas. Graças a estas funções tive oportunidade de lidar diariamente com os associados, alunos e envolvidos com o Centro, bem como toda a equipa de funcionários, tornando mais fácil compreender o impacto das ações do CCDTCMP na sua comunidade. Posto isto, a revisão literária executada pretende evidenciar como as teorias se relacionam com a aplicação prática dos conceitos, de modo a compreender se as estratégias aplicadas pelo CCDTCMP são adequadas às suas necessidades.
A análise do contexto situacional do Centro bem como das suas valências foi fundamental para compreender a otimização dos seus recursos e perceber em que medidas se poderiam implementar estratégias de melhoria. Todo o trabalho executado desenvolveu-se com base nas especificidades do público-alvo e do respetivo feedback, para garantir que as ações implementadas permitissem manter a inovação e o crescimento da comunidade. Nesse sentido, compreenderam-se também as necessidades de comunicação interna e externa, para que se pudesse otimizar o envolvimento dos associados e da prórpia equipa, melhorando a visilibilidade da organização. Por fim, efetua-se um estudo de caso com o objetivo de compreender o impacto das ações implementadas no desempenho real da organização e do envolvimento do público.
With the emergence of the first Non-Profit Organisations, there was an interest in understanding why other entities would invest in them, and what benefits they would bring to certain social groups. Nowadays, with the huge growth of the non-profit sector, it has become essential to establish plans and strategies that guarantee effective management to enable organisations to survive. In addition, and motivated by technological advances, there is an increasing need to adapt the means of communication in order to guarantee public satisfaction. This internship report describes the course of my experience as an intern, from 21st October 2024 to 31st December 2024, at Centro Cultural e Desportivo dos Trabalhadores da Câmara Municipal do Porto, a non-profit collective institution of public utility. The basic objective of this internship focused on the areas of communication, management and administration, with an emphasis on developing and optimising strategies applied to the CCDTCMP's different services. In the administrative services team I was responsible for managing communication channels, supporting the activities and events planning and execution, and do administrative tasks. Thanks to these roles I had the opportunity to deal on a daily basis with the association’s members, students and those involved with the Centre, as well as the entire staff team, making it easier to understand the impact of the CCDTCMP's actions on its community. That said, the literature review carried out aims to highlight how the theories relate to the practical application of the concepts, in order to understand whether the strategies applied by the CCDTCMP are appropriate to its needs. The analysis of the Centre's situational context and its areas of expertise was fundamental to understanding how to optimise its resources, and in understanding the measures that could be used to implement improvement strategies. All the work carried out was based on the specificities of the target audience and their feedback, to ensure that the actions implemented would maintain the innovation and growth of the community. In this sense, the internal and external communication needs were also understood, so that the involvement of members and the team itself could be optimised, improving the organisation's visibility. Finally, a case study is carried out with the aim of understanding the impact of the actions implemented on the actual performance of the organisation and public involvement.
