| dc.description.abstract | A presente monografia revela o processo da criação teatral denominada de “Sa(n)tã – uma vida em delírio ou a tentativa de não esquecer”. Analisa o lugar da mulher no teatro, e como a performance e os estudos de género alteraram o paradigma artístico, e de que modo isso influenciou a minha perspetiva enquanto criadora e interprete. O tema inicial partiu de inquietações pessoais sobre a minha posição enquanto mulher na sociedade – mãe, filha, atriz com surdez –, com interrogações de identidade, as influências culturais e religiosas, e a transformação do corpo nos últimos anos. Posteriormente, a pesquisa funde dois objetos de estudo artístico que se mostraram relacionados: a dualidade entre santa e satã e a experiência do envelhecimento, tendo como ponto de partida um coletivo de memórias de mulheres entre os 60 e os 98 anos, construindo assim uma narrativa político-poética que desafia as normas sociais e os estereótipos. Pretende, deste modo, gerar discussão e debate sobre o papel da mulher na sociedade, destacando histórias recolhidas de resistência e sucesso e, estimular a reflexão crítica sobre questões existenciais, éticas e religiosas através da expressão artística teatral. | dc.description.abstract | This study reveals the process of creating the theatre piece entitled Sa(n)tã - a life in delirium or the attempt not to forget". It analyses the place of women in the theatre, and how performance and gender studies changed the artistic paradigm, and how this influenced my perspective as a creator and interpreter. The initial theme started from personal concerns about my position as a woman in society - mother, daughter, actress with deafness -, with questions of identity, cultural and religious influences, and the transformation of the body in recent years. Subsequently, the research merges two objects of artistic study that proved to be related: the duality between saint and satan and the experience of ageing, having as a starting point a collective of memories of women between 60 and 98, thus building a political-poetic narrative that challenges social norms and stereotypes. It intends, in this way, to generate discussion and debate on the role of women in society, highlighting collected stories of resistance and success and stimulating critical reflection on existential, ethical and spiritual issues through theatrical artistic expression. It also demonstrates the relevance of devising theatre and the “theatre of the real” as methodological references in contemporary theatre making. | eng |
