O presente relatório versa o estágio correspondente à componente não-curricular do mestrado em Artes Cénicas - Interpretação e Direcção Artística, realizado no Teatro Nacional São João, entre Dezembro de 2022 a Abril de 2023. Como objecto-produção científica, distancia-se, por vezes, da escrita académica, encontrando na subjectividade discursiva uma maior honestidade perante o exercício de relatar. Enquanto estagiário na direcção artística do TNSJ, acompanhei a definição da programação para a temporada de 2023/2024 e trabalhei como assistente de encenação na criação d'As Bruxas de Salém, peça de Arthur Miller, encenada por Nuno Cardoso. Como tal, exploro o equilíbrio entre a reflexão teórica e a exposição empírica, acreditando que só assim será possível revelar uma abordagem crítica ao fazer teatral e demonstrar o meu percurso de aprendizagem na construção deste espectáculo.
This report addresses the internship required for obtaining the MA in Performing Arts - Acting and Artistic Direction, carried out at Teatro Nacional São João, between December 2022 and April 2023. As a scientific object-production, it occasionally distances itself from academic writing, finding a more honest approach to the exercise of reporting in discursive subjectivity. As an intern in TNSJ's artistic direction, I followed the delineation of the 2023/2024 season programming and worked as assistant director in The Crucible, Arthur Miller's play, directed by Nuno Cardoso. Thus, I explore the balance between theoretical cogitation and empirical expounding, trusting that only as so it becomes possible to reveal a critical approach to theatre making and to demonstrate my learning path in the creation of this performance.
