Abstract(s)
Este relatório refere-se ao projeto e execução de um sistema robótico automático para inserção de componentes em peças plásticas do setor automotivo. O sistema funciona sem a necessidade de um operador, e tem elevada utilidade na indústria e no contexto de automação industrial, devido às suas vantagens de curto tempo de produção e baixos índices de falhas, em comparação com a mão-de-obra humana. O sistema foi desenvolvido na empresa WRK, Lda., sendo o projeto de responsabilidade duma equipe multidisciplinar. A tarefa desenvolvida no âmbito desta tese prende-se com a programação do sistema que foi realizada integralmente em uma plataforma própria do robô, semelhante à linguagem C, para além de algumas seções com programação em ladder. O sistema aqui apresentado foi efetivamente implementado e sua funcionalidade foi verificada, bem como garantido o cumprimento de todos os requisitos pré-estabelecidos para sua operação.
This report refers to the project and execution of an automatic robotic system to insert components in plastic parts of the automotive industry. The system works without a human operator, and has been largely used in the current industry scenario, due to its benefits of short time of production and low levels of failures, in comparison to the human labor. The system was developed in the company WRK, Lda., in which the project was responsibility of a multidisciplinary team. The task developed in this paper sticks to the programming of the system, which was completely made in the robot’s own environment, similar to C programming language, and also some sections programmed in ladder language. The system here presented was effectively implemented and its functionality was verified, as well as all the requirements defined for its operation were assured to be fulfilled.
