Abstract(s)
Tenho o objetivo de provar que a utilização da cor como meio de significação enriquece a narrativa ao nível cinematográfico e transmite uma maior carga emocional ao espetador. A premissa deste ensaio assenta na relação que o significado da cor tem na construção visual do ambiente fílmico. O raciocínio é iniciado com o esclarecimento científico de como o ser humano reage à presença da cor, de seguida é abordada a matéria do significado da cor e a sua associação à cinematografia. Na interpretação do ambiente fílmico são depreendidos os conceitos básicos de iluminação e direção de fotografia com exemplos práticos do filme "Ventre". Como estudo de caso, são abordadas obras do cinema nacional e internacional que influenciaram a composição visual do filme apresentado na componente prática (Ventre).
My goal is to prove that the use of color as a mean of significance enhances the narrative at a cinematographic level and transmits a bigger emotional load to the spectator. The premise of this essay stands in the relation that the meaning of the color has in the visual construction of the filmic environment. The reasoning begins with the scientific enlightenment of how the human being reacts to the presence of color, and then the significance of color is addressed as well as its association to cinematography. In the interpretation of the filmic environment are inferred the basic concepts of illumination and photography, with practical examples of the movie "Ventre". As a case study, we approach some works of national and international cinema that influenced the visual composition of the movie presented in the practical component (Ventre).
