Abstract(s)
O presente relatório consiste como um documento de experiências vividas, fruto
do estágio curricular realizado na produtora Arquipélago Filmes, no ano letivo de
2021/2022, no âmbito da conclusão de estudos do Mestrado em Comunicação
Audiovisual – Especialização em Cinema Documental.
O desenvolvimento deste relatório incide sobre as diferenças e semelhanças de
um filme documentário e um filme de ficção e, consequentemente, pelo desejo e
interesse pessoal na aquisição de competências essenciais a desenvolver em contexto
profissional.
O relatório está estruturado em duas partes, a primeira centra-se numa reflexão
teórica sobre a simbiose entre o género do documentário e da ficção, onde irei discutir
assuntos relacionados com a representação do outro em ambos os géneros
cinematográficos.
A primeira parte encerra com considerações sobre a autenticidade na
representação explanada em dois projetos distintos em que um, parte da minha
experiência como realizadora durante o primeiro ano de Mestrado e, o outro, parte de
um projeto desenvolvido durante a experiência prática do estágio.
A segunda parte é composta pela descrição explícita de todas as funções e tarefas
exercidas nos diferentes projetos em que estive envolvida na produtora Arquipélago
Filmes localizada em Lisboa, ao longo de seis meses.
O relatório termina com uma reflexão de todo o processo de trabalho
desenvolvido, assente na minha participação ativa nos diferentes projetos criativos, de
forma a refletir sobre as novas competências e ferramentas adquiridas para atuar e
trabalhar nas áreas de maior interesse como assistente de imagem e, quem sabe, um dia
como diretora de fotografia.
This report is a document of lived experiences, from a curricular internship at Arquipélago Films developed in the academic year of 2021/2022 within the scope of the conclusion of studies of the Master in Audiovisual Communication – Specialization in Documentary Cinema. The development of this report is about differences and similarities of a documentary film and a fiction film and, consequently, by the desire and personal interest in acquiring essential skills to be developed in a professional context. The report is structured in two parts, the first focuses on a theoretical reflection about the symbiosis between the documentary and fiction genre, where I will discuss issues related to the representation of the other in both cinematographic genres. The first part ends with considerations about authenticity in the representation explained in two different projects, in which one, arises of my experience as a filmmaker during the first year of the Master's, and the other, arises of a project developed during the practical experience of the internship. The second part consists of the explicit description of all the functions and tasks performed in the different projects in which I was involved at Arquipélago Films located in Lisbon over the course of six months. The report ends with a reflection of the entire work process developed, based on my active participation in the different creative projects, in order to reflect on the new skills and tools I acquired to act and work in the areas of greatest interest as an image assistant and, who knows, one day as a cinematographer.
