Abstract(s)
Entre as formas que conduzem ao adoecimento no trabalho, destaca-se
o estresse ocupacional, que pode ser definido como um processo em que os
indivíduos percebem suas demandas laborais como estressoras, provocando
reações negativas (Paschoal e Tamayo, 2004). Em vista disso, este estudo teve
como escopo “analisar os principais estressores organizacionais, na percepção
dos Técnico-Administrativos em Educação, da Reitoria do Instituto Federal
Farroupilha”. Para tal desiderato, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica e
descritiva, do tipo survey, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa.
Participaram 59 servidores, os quais responderam questões atinentes a dados
pessoais e ocupacionais, à Escala de Estresse no Trabalho (EET) e a uma
pergunta discursiva. As informações foram analisadas por meio de estatística
descritiva (categorização de escalas, teste Qui-quadrado e coeficiente Alfa de
Cronbach), e pela técnica de análise de conteúdo (Bardin, 2011). Com relação
ao nível de estresse ocupacional, constatou-se a prevalência do moderado. A
análise qualitativa despontou que há sobrecarga de atividades, que o número
de servidores é insufuciente para realizá-las, que a carga horária é
contraproducente e que algumas decisões institucionais não são disseminadas.
Conclui-se que é necessário que os gestores tomem providências quanto aos
estressores organizacionais de maior intensidade achados nesta pesquisa, a fim
de reduzir os níveis de estresse ocupacional.
Occupational stress can be defined as a process in which individuals perceive their labor demands as stressors, provoking negative reactions (Paschoal and Tamayo, 2004). The information was analyzed through descriptive statistics (categorization of scales, Chi-square test and Cronbach's coefficient), and by the content analysis technique (Bardin, 2011). The qualitative analysis showed that there is an overload of activities, that the number of workers is insufficient to carry them out, that the workload is counterproductive and that some institutional decisions are not disseminated.
