O presente trabalho de investigação pretende analisar a importância contato de crianças muito jovens línguas estrangeiras. estrangeiras. Este trabalho trabalho concentra -se na tentativa investigar, numa abordagem dinâmica, a importância das histórias, juntamente com a música, nessa aprendizagem da língua inglesa. As histórias aproximam a criança do mundo da imaginação, da criatividade, do fantástico e muitas vezes levam a criança de volta para a sua realidade, para o seu mundo. No que respeita à musica, esta tem algo de mundial e está presente nas nossas vidas a nível de cultura, pertencendo ao quotidiano de todos, criando ligações de afetividade e partilhas de vivências e de experiências entre as diferentes culturas e povos. Neste sentido, podemos salientar também que é fundamental assinalar a importância no desenvolvimento cognitivo da criança. Foram utilizadas as metodologias quantitativa e quantitativa . Na análise quantitativa foram utilizados como instrumentos de recolha recolha os questionários dados às crianças dos 3º e 4ºanos. Na leitura qualitativa foram foram utilizadas as fotografias das atividades realizadas e efetuadas observações das reações dos alunos à atividade pela Professora Supervisora Cooperante.
The present research work intends to analyze the importance of very young children's contact with foreign languages. This work focuses on trying to research, in a dynamic approach, the importance of stories, together with music in this learning of the English language. Stories bring children closer to the world of imagination, creativity, the fantastic and often take the children back to their reality, to their world. As far as music is concerned, it is somewhat universal and it is present in our lives at the level of culture, belonging to everyone's everyday life, creating links of affectivity and sharing of experiences between different cultures and peoples. In this sense, we can also point out that it is fundamental to highlight its importance in the cognitive development of children. Both quantitative and quantitative methodologies were used. In the quantitative analysis questionnaires given to 3rd and 4th grade children were used as a collection instrument. In the reading methodology photographs of the activities carried out and observations of the students' reactions to the Cooperating Teacher’s activity were used.
