Relatório final de estágio submetido como requisito parcial para obtenção do grau de Mestre em Ensino de Inglês e Francês no Ensino Básico. O presente Relatório de Estágio resulta de uma investigação realizada no
âmbito da Prática Educativa, inserida no Mestrado em Ensino do Inglês e Francês ou
Espanhol no Ensino Básico. O tema desta investigação centra-se nas potencialidades
do role play enquanto atividade promotora da produção oral em língua estrangeira.
Sabe-se que o desenvolvimento da competência oral é um dos principais focos no
ensino atual de uma língua estrangeira, tendo sido essa a minha principal motivação
para a aplicação deste estudo.
O processo de investigação centrou-se na implementação de variadas
atividades de role play de maneira a ser possível a observação dos resultados e sua
posterior análise, que será apresentada de forma crítica neste documento. O objetivo
deste estudo foi o de verificar se o role play consiste numa atividade promotora da
oralidade, refletindo sobre aspetos como a interação e a dramatização.
Neste Relatório de Estágio foram ainda incluídos alguns exemplos de práticas
implementadas consideradas positivas e relevantes para o processo de
ensino/aprendizagem, tal como uma Unidade Didática elaborada de acordo com os
documentos orientadores para o ensino de línguas estrangeiras.
Por fim, serão apresentadas algumas considerações finais sobre este percurso
enquanto aluna de mestrado e futura professora, referindo os aspetos relevantes
desta experiência e o que espero conseguir alcançar no meu futuro profissional.
The current Educational Practice Report results from a research in the scope of the teaching practicum, within the Mestrado em Ensino do Inglês e Francês ou Espanhol no Ensino Básico. The theme of this research focuses on the potential of the role play as a pedagogical activity which can promote the speaking skills in the foreign language. It is known that nowadays the development of speaking skills is one of the central focuses in the teaching of a foreign language, being that my main motivation in this study. The research process was developed through the implementation of different role plays, in order to be possible the observation of the results and later critical analysis, which will be presented in this document. The main purpose of this research was to verify if role play consists of an activity which promotes the speaking skills, thinking over issues as interaction and drama. In this report there will also be included some practical examples of activities used throughout the teaching practicum, regarded as effective and relevant in the teaching/learning process, as well as an Unit Plan prepared bearing in mind the guiding principles in the teaching of foreign languages. To conclude, some final considerations about this path as a master’s student and future teacher will be presented, referring the relevant aspects of this experience and what I expect to accomplish regarding my professional life
