A presente dissertação pretende descrever o processo de investigação e desenvolvimento do projeto realizado no âmbito da unidade curricular de Tese/Dissertação/Estágio do Mestrado em Engenharia Informática, na área de especialização de Engenharia de Software, no Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. O projeto, proposto pela empresa E-goi, apresenta o objetivo principal de investigar e desenvolver uma ferramenta robusta e escalável que permita a gestão de workflows de integração, baseados em triggers e actions de modo a alargar as possibilidades de integrações com o E-goi. O cliente moderno procura sobretudo serviços mais ready to go onde não há dependência de perfis como designer ou programador. Com base nesta premissa a importância das integrações e a sua automação tem vindo a aumentar, existindo uma necessidade de agilizar o processo de integração de diversas plataformas. A descrição técnica deste documento descreve o processo de desenvolvimento da solução, resultante da análise do problema e levantamento dos requisitos de software.
This dissertation aims to describe the process of research and development of the project carried out within the Thesis/Dissertation/Internship of the Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, in the area of software engineering specialization, at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. The project, proposed by the company E-goi, presents the main objective of investigating and develop a robust and scalable tool that allows the management of integration workflows, wich are trigger and action based to extend the possibilities of integrations with E-goi. The modern client mainly seeks more ready to go services where there is no dependence on profiles as a designer or programmer. Based on this premise, the importance of integrations and their automation has been increasing, and there is a need to streamline the integration process of various platforms. The technical description of this document describes the process of developing the solution, resulting from the analysis of the problem and survey of software requirements.
