As mulheres com cancro da mama passam por várias mudanças nas suas rotinas diárias. Objetivamos analisar como essas mulheres enfrentam os desafios da sua vida profissional, conversando com profissionais das Associações que as apoiam.
Este estudo visa identificar os desafios que as mulheres com doença oncológica, enquanto Recurso Humano no e para o trabalho, enfrentam no dia a dia durante e após o cancro da mama na sua vida profissional.
Pretendemos investigar como é gerido o processo em contexto organizacional e com as/os colegas de trabalho, qual a importância das Instituições de apoio à mulher com cancro da mama e a diversidade de apoios que disponibilizam e também identificar boas práticas que possam servir empregadores e gestores de recursos humanos nas suas práticas de gestão e desenvolvimento de pessoas.
Realizamos um estudo exploratório e descritivo baseado numa metodologia qualitativa, uma vez que o nosso objetivo é descrever as experiências em Grupos e Organizações de Apoio, para que tenham aplicabilidade social.
Foram efetuadas entrevistas semiestruturadas para recolha de dados qualitativos, realizadas à distância com quatro responsáveis de três Organizações de Apoio a Trabalhadoras com cancro da mama.
Women with breast cancer experience multiple changes in their daily routines. We aim to analyze how these women face challenges in their professional lives by speaking to professionals from Associations that support them. This study aims to identify the challenges that women with cancer, as a Human Resource in and for work, face on a daily basis during and after breast cancer in their professional life. It intends to understand how the process is managed in an organizational context and with co-workers, what is the importance of Organizations to support women with breast cancer and the diversity of support they provide, and also to identify good practices that can serve employers and Human Resources Managers in their working tactics and people development practices. We conducted an exploratory and descriptive study based on a qualitative methodology since our objective is to describe the experiences in Support Groups and Organisations, so they can have social applicability. Semi-structured interviews for qualitative data collection were used and conducted online with four individuals in charge of three Organisations supporting women with breast cancer.
