O Grupo Cabelte S.A. tem 3 unidades de produção na fábrica de Ribeirão produzindo fios e cabos elétricos de cobre e alumínio com características distintas que são exportados para diferentes continentes. A fábrica tem um ciclo de trabalho de 7 dias/semana e 24 horas/dia. Neste contexto, a manutenção desempenha um papel fulcral no atingimento dos objetivos de produção e no sucesso da empresa.
O objetivo principal desta dissertação foi avaliar o estado do parque de equipamentos existentes na Cabelte S.A. e implementar diversas melhorias técnicas que consistiram i) na otimização do armazém de peças de reserva; ii) na instalação de novo elevador de carga na fundição; iii) na instalação de novos queimadores nos fornos de espera da fundição; iv) na instalação de sistema de aspiração na fundição; v) na reconversão de uma trefiladora multifilar; vi) na alteração do enrolador de fio máquina; vii) na aplicação de um carro carregador a uma cableadora planetária.
O decréscimo do índice semanal de horas de equipamentos em avaria tem vindo a diminuir, no entanto, a uma velocidade inferior à pretendida. A introdução de novas máquinas e a reformulação de outras tem consumido recursos humanos, o que tem condicionado a capacidade de resposta da equipa de manutenção.
Pretende-se evoluir para um sistema de manutenção preditivo, equilibrado e otimizado face aos recursos e às necessidades, que garanta o correto funcionamento de todos os sistemas e equipamentos. Planeia-se a aplicação de algumas das técnicas mais usadas, em particular, a medição de vibrações, a termografia e a análise aos óleos de lubrificação.
The Cabelte S.A. Group has three production facilities in the factory of Ribeirão, Familicão (Portugal), producing electrical wire and cable in copper and aluminum with different characteristics. These products are exported to different continents. The plant has a working cycle of 7 days / week and 24 hours / day. In this context, maintenance plays a crucial role in the achievement of the production goals and in the success of the company. The main aim of this thesis was to evaluate the conditions of the existing equipments in Cabelte S.A. and implement various technical improvements which consisted in i) the optimization of the warehouse of spare parts; ii) the installation of a new freight elevator in foundry; iii) the installation of new burners in the furnaces foundry; iv) vacuum system installation in foundry; v) the conversion of a multiwire drawing machines; vi) changes in the wire winding machine; vii) application of a car charger to the bunching machines. The decrease in the weekly rate of hours of equipment malfunction has been declining, however, at a lower speed than desired. The introduction of new machinery and the reformulation of others have consumed human resources, which has conditioned the response capacity of the maintenance team. It is intended to develop into a predictive maintenance system, balanced and optimized given the resources and needs, ensuring the correct operation of all systems and equipments. It is also intended to apply some of the main applied techniques, such as the measurement of vibration, thermography and analysis of the lubrication oils.
