Abstract(s)
This dissertation outlines the development of an integrated system with the primary goals of controlling the commercial process, supporting stock management, and creating user-facing solutions that encompass the complete order production and dispatch process. The ceramics sector uses this solution, which consists of two distinct platforms: an online application and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The foundation of this integrated solution is a system that is entirely focused on the operational effectiveness of the business. The suggested system combines, on a single server, an ERP with a web application that accesses a central database. The platforms are able to exchange information and communicate with each other more easily because to this unified data warehouse. Because the system is built to enable ongoing development, the web application and the ERP may both be upgraded and expanded to meet the demands of the business. The ERP may be fully customized to meet the unique requirements and preferences of the business. Being accessible from any device, the web application is very flexible. Following installation, the designed solution was assessed, and users received training to enable them to utilize the tools as independently as feasible. At last, several areas that require enhancement and potential areas for further research are noted. Feedback from users will be helpful for the system’s ongoing development after the solution has been implemented in a live setting.
