| dc.description.abstract | O presente estudo tem como objetivo fundamental perceber se o desempenho organizacional das empresas da indústria têxtil e vestuário pode ser beneficiado e otimizado com a adoção de práticas de liderança transformacional e orientação empreendedora. Neste sentido, procedeu-se à revisão de literatura existente dedicada a estes construtos e à realização de um estudo empírico com a adoção de uma abordagem metodológica quantitativa, com recurso à aplicação de um questionário online, que contou com o contributo de 144 colaboradores da indústria têxtil e vestuário portuguesa. A análise dos dados foi realizada através do modelo de equações estruturais (SEM). Os resultados obtidos demonstraram a existência de uma relação positiva e significativa entre liderança transformacional e orientação empreendedora e entre orientação empreendedora e desempenho organizacional. Por outro lado, não foram encontradas evidências de que a liderança transformacional seja uma variável influenciadora do desempenho organizacional. Não obstante, foi possível comprovar o efeito mediador da orientação empreendedora na relação entre liderança transformacional e desempenho organizacional. Este estudo diferencia-se dos demais por não procurar estabelecer relações diretas entre os três construtos, mas por optar por analisar o efeito indireto e mediador da orientação empreendedora na relação entre liderança transformacional e orientação empreendedora. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The primary objective of this study is to understand whether the organisational performance of companies operating in the textile and clothing sector can be optimised by and benefit from the adoption of practices of transformational leadership and entrepreneurial orientation. In this sense, we carried out a study of the existing literature dedicated to these constructs, and consequently adopted a quantitative methodological approach through the application of an online questionnaire, which relied on the contribution of 144 employees from the textile and clothing sector. Data analysis was performed through the structural equation model (SEM). The results demonstrated the existence of a positive and significant relationship between transformational leadership and entrepreneurial orientation and between entrepreneurial orientation and organisational performance. On the other hand, no evidence was found that transformational leadership is a variable that influences organisational performance. Nevertheless, it was possible to prove the mediating effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the relationship between transformational leadership and organisational performance. This study differs from others by not seeking to establish direct relations between the three constructs, but choosing instead to analyse the indirect and mediating effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the relationship between transformational leadership and entrepreneurial orientation. | pt_PT |
