Abstract(s)
exposição a novas realidades.
Museums occupy an important position within a community providing a fundamental service to knowledge, contributing as essential instruments in education and culture. Today's museums are not perished places, they have dynamics generated by events, exhibitions and public communications. The technological advance and specifically the democratization of internet access have defined new forms of communication and interaction between people and institutions. The internet improves access to museums more broadly, being often the gateway. The Soares dos Reis National Museum has about 90.000 visits a year (graph n.º 4 in apendix), highlighting the internet as the most used information in terms of consultation. The Project "Museum Web Exhibition" aims to respond to a need of the Museu Nacional Soares dos Reis (MNSR), transversal to other Museums and Art Galleries, - What to do with the produced records in an exhibition? - How to last in time this exhibition? – How to spread them? These are concrete issues taken by the Museum, becoming more relevant according to the importance of the exhibition. The study object of this Project is the exhibition of João Allen – colecionar o mundo, held at MNSR in 2018. Through the interactive cultural experience, the author intends, to recreate the exhibition on a micro website, making it available to the visitor in an intuitive and appealing way, based on the collection of data and scientific elements about the theme of the exhibition. Contextualizing the data collected in a structure web page, with free access, providing the continuity of the exhibition, its subjects and the exposed pieces, actively disseminating cultural knowledge in a globalized way. In Portugal, by the research carried out on several Museums and Art Galleries, it is verified that some institutions try to reproduce the exhibitions through photo galleries, which are just that. In this context, this Project can be considered as pioneer in Portugal, assisting Museums in the need to adapt their communication plan of exposure to new realities.
