Abstract(s)
profissional, me permitisse aprimorar o currículo, e ajudasse a crescer pessoal e profissionalmente.
This document aims to document and argue the entire methodological process related to the curricular internship carried out at Associação Empresarial do Minho (AEMinho). AEMinho was founded in 2021, with its headquarters established in Braga, in the Braga IPCA campus. Arising from the need to represent and unite the business fabric of Minho, AEMinho aims to act as an agent for regional development, boosting the economic, social and cultural growth of the region. I chose to complete this master's degree with an internship because I believed that this would be the most advantageous option, as it would better prepare me for the job market. I was looking for a challenging and enriching experience that would prepare me for the future, insert me into the professional world, allow me to improve my CV, and help me grow personally and professionally. The work I developed during the internship was mainly related to the association's communication, predominantly the photographic coverage of business events organized by AEMinho. As such, the theme of this document is related to the construction of images in a business context, investigating the theory that supports the photography of corporate events. Therefore, I analyse the crucial factors for this type of work, highlighting the essential technical and professional qualities for the photographer. Additionally, the study provides examples of photographers specialized in corporate events and analyses authors who have studied the subject. In order to address this topic, I considered it relevant to start by investigating subtopics such as documentary photography, the influence of image on the public perception of entities, and the importance of photography in institutional communication.
