O presente Relatório de Estágio Profissional descreve todo o conjunto de atividades desenvolvidas na Escola Artística do Conservatório de Música Calouste Gulbenkian de Braga, no ano letivo 2022/2023, no âmbito da prática educativa desenvolvida no Ensino de Instrumento - Tuba.
Este relatório está dividido em três capítulos: o primeiro contextualiza e caracteriza a instituição Escola Artística do Conservatório de Música Calouste Gulbenkian de Braga, inclui os relatórios das aulas observadas, bem como o balanço geral das mesmas; o segundo capítulo dedica-se à Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, contendo registos das aulas lecionadas, bem como as suas planificações. No terceiro capítulo é apresentado o meu projeto de investigação. O objetivo deste projeto é verificar se a Visualização Mental ajuda na preparação dos alunos para concursos. Com isto em mente, o mesmo foi desenhado para coincidir com a 15ª edição do Concurso Internacional de Instrumentos de Sopro Oliveira de Azeméis. O projeto foi desenvolvido a partir das seguintes questões de investigação: (Q1) Será a Visualização Mental uma ferramenta útil para o estudo do eufónio?; (Q2) Será a Visualização Mental uma ferramenta benéfica na preparação para um concurso?; e (Q3) Que resultados são obtidos com a Visualização Mental na motivação para o estudo e no combate à ansiedade performativa? Com os resultados obtidos entende-se que a Visualização Mental ajuda na preparação dos alunos, ajudando-os a sentirem-se mais motivados e a combater a ansiedade performativa.
This Professional Internship Report describes the whole set of activities developed at the Escola Artística do Conservatório de Música Calouste Gulbenkian de Braga, in the academic year 2022/2023, within the framework of the educational practice developed in Instrument Education - Tuba. This report is divided into three chapters: the first chapter includes the description of the Institution and the reports of the observed lessons, including a brief evaluation of the latter; the second chapter is dedicated to the Supervised Teaching Practice, containing reports of the classes taught, as well as their planning; the third chapter encompasses the research project. In the third chapter my research project is presented. The objective of this project is to verify whether Mental Visualization helps in preparing students for competitions; for that aim, the project was planned to overlap with the 15th edition of the Oliveira de Azeméis International Wind Instrument Competition. The project was developed based on the following research questions: (Q1) Is Mental Visualization a useful tool for studying the euphonium?; (Q2) Is Mental Visualization a beneficial tool when preparing for a competition?; and (Q3) What results are obtained with Mental Visualization in motivating study and combating performative anxiety? With the results obtained, it is understood that Mental Visualization helps prepare students, helping them to feel more motivated and aiding in performance anxiety management.
