This research aims to develop a pedagogical toolkit that brings together a set of activities exploring the intersection of acoustic ecology, quantum listening, and compositional praxis, drawing on the pedagogical approaches of Murray Schafer and the concept of The New Discipline proposed by composer Jennifer Walshe. In a world undergoing constant transformation—not only at the sociopolitical level, but also ecologically—it becomes increasingly urgent to rethink listening practices, fostering more conscious ways of relating to a more-than-human world. In the face of ongoing environmental degradation, there is a pressing need, within educational contexts, to cultivate modes of being that enable critical and sensitive responses to contemporary challenges. The development of this toolkit is grounded in theoretical research and the systematization of previously developed materials, combined with a practical component implemented through seminars and workshops with students. In a later stage, the project evolves into a dialogical process of co-constructing the final pedagogical resource.
