Abstract(s)
O setor energético, em Portugal, é um pilar fundamental da economia nacional, quer do ponto de vista do cidadão quer do ponto de vista das empresas. Dada a sua natureza, é um sistema complexo que envolve diversas instituições e agentes, que está em constante mudança para se adaptar aos desafios globais europeus. Para dar resposta às necessidades desta constante evolução, as empresas precisam de estar sempre um passo à frente, antecipando tendências e possíveis cenários, tornando-se necessário investir cada vez mais em técnicos qualificados. No âmbito desta dissertação são desenvolvidas novas bancadas de ensaio para o Laboratório
de Instalações Elétricas do Departamento de Engenharia Eletrotécnica do Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), que dá suporte a atividades letivas no âmbito das instalações elétricas, sistemas de segurança, automação e domótica. Do levantamento realizado aos equipamentos existentes no Laboratório de Instalações Elétricas, conclui-se a necessidade eminente de substituição e atualização da aparelhagem de medição e
ensaio, promovendo assim a sua renovação tecnológica e funcionalidades. No domínio deste trabalho foram, também, desenvolvidos na plataforma Moodle, conteúdos técnicos e guiões para a realização de trabalhos laboratoriais. Demonstrou-se a importância do desenvolvimento pessoal como sendo o fator-chave para o
sucesso no mercado de trabalho e impulsionar a progressão na carreira. O objetivo fulcral é dotar as aulas de natureza laboratorial com cariz mais prático, fator essencial para estimular nos alunos a curiosidade, a autonomia, a criatividade, o espírito crítico e a responsabilidade, contribuindo para a melhoria na qualidade do ensino-aprendizagem. Manipular, mexer, fazer e experimentar possibilita experiências de aprendizagem mais
marcantes e que perduram na memória. Em conclusão, o desenvolvimento das capacidades de investigação e de resolução de problemas são extremamente úteis, na definição da vida futura, para criar Engenheiros
responsáveis, cultos e participativos na sociedade. A transladação do laboratório físico para as diferentes bancadas exigiu uma preparação detalhada, atendendo às limitações de espaço, ao cumprimento de todas as regras de segurança vigentes e às dinâmicas de trabalho. A disposição dos equipamentos, a respetiva sinalização, a escolha do material do painel e a estrutura onde se encontra apoiada a cablagem de interligação dos mesmos são alguns dos aspetos a pudessem ser análise de melhoria contínua. No estado da Arte são abordados os temas da escolha dos produtos, a fase de conceção do projeto com menção aos aspetos técnicos, a descrição dos equipamentos utilizados nos painéis e a apresentação das ligações elétricas. A contribuição deste trabalho culmina com o aparecimento das várias bancadas de trabalho, devidamente equipadas de forma versátil, utilizando uma solução de integração, através do protocolo de comunicação KNX.
The energy sector, in Portugal, is a fundamental pillar of the national economy, both from the perspective of citizens and companies. Given its nature, it is a complex system involving several institutions and agents, which is constantly changing to adapt to global European challenges. To meet the needs of this constant evolution, companies need to always be one step ahead, anticipating trends and possible scenarios, making it necessary to invest increasingly in qualified technicians. As part of this dissertation, new test benches will be developed for the Electrical Installations Laboratory of the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), which supports teaching activities in the field of electrical installations, security systems, automation and home automation. The survey of the equipment in the Electrical Installations Laboratory revealed the urgent need to replace and update the measuring and testing equipment, thereby promoting its technological renewal and functionality. As part of this work, technical content and guidelines for carrying out laboratory work were also developed on the Moodle platform. The importance of personal development was demonstrated as a key factor for success in the job market and for boosting career progression. The main objective was to provide laboratory classes with a more practical nature, an essential factor for stimulating curiosity, autonomy, creativity, critical thinking and responsibility in students, contributing to improving the quality of teaching. Manipulating, tinkering, making and experimenting allows for more memorable learning experiences that last in the memory. In conclusion, the development of research and problem-solving skills are extremely useful in defining future life, to create responsible, cultured and participatory Engineers in society. The transfer of the physi al laboratory to the different benches required detailed preparation, considering space limitations, compliance with all current safety rules and work dynamics. The layout of the equipment, its signage, the choice of panel material and the structure on which the interconnection cabling is supported are some of the aspects that could be analyzed for continuous improvement. The state of the art covers the topics of product selection, the project design phase with reference to technical aspects, the description of the equipment used in the panels and the presentation of the electrical connections. The contribution of this work culminates in the appearance of various workbenches, duly equipped in a versatile way, using an integration solution, through the KNX communication protocol.
