Abstract(s)
Com o crescimento do comércio eletrónico, as pequenas empresas enfrentam muitos
desafios únicos, nomeadamente a nível tecnológico. Nesse contexto, este estudo examina
as estratégias utilizadas pelas pequenas empresas em Portugal para superar esses desafios,
procurando identificar as melhores estratégias.
A metodologia de investigação consistiu em entrevistas em profundidade
semiestruturadas para análise da perceção dos gestores sobre as suas empresas, em quatro
realidades distintas, ou seja, foram realizadas entrevistas a quatro empreendedores
digitais que atuam em comércio eletrónico. Os resultados demonstram que existem
inúmeros benefícios em desenvolver um negócio digital em comércio eletrónico, contudo
também existem muitos desafios a superar. Os principais benefícios estão
maioritariamente associados aos menores custos, ao alcance global e à recolha e análise
de dados. No que concerne aos maiores desafios, destacam-se os problemas legais ou
regulatórios, dificuldades técnicas, designadamente na construção de um website de
comércio eletrónico e fatores externos, por exemplo logísticos.
Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo contribuir para a compreensão do empreendedorismo
digital em pequenas empresas portuguesas, fornecendo insights práticos para os
empreendedores digitais em comércio eletrónico. Além disso, procura promover a
sustentabilidade de uma empresa e a inovação num mercado em constante mudança,
ajudando as pequenas empresas a prosperar no mercado digital ao adotar estratégias com
base na experiência no consumidor.
With the growth of e-commerce, small businesses face many unique challenges, particularly technologically. In this context, this study examines the strategies used by small businesses in Portugal to overcome these challenges, seeking to identify the best strategies. The research methodology consisted of a multiple case study in four different realities, that is, interviews were carried out with digital entrepreneurs working in e-commerce. The results demonstrate that there are numerous benefits to developing a digital business in e-commerce, however there are also many challenges to overcome. The main benefits are mostly associated with lower costs, global reach and data collection and analysis. Regarding the biggest challenges, legal or regulatory problems stand out, technical difficulties, particularly in the construction of an e-commerce website and external factors, for example logistics. This research aims to contribute to the understanding of digital entrepreneurship in small Portuguese companies, providing practical insights for digital entrepreneurs in e commerce. Furthermore, it seeks to promote a company's sustainability and innovation in an ever-changing market, helping small businesses to thrive in the digital market by adopting strategies based on consumer experience.
