Abstract(s)
Com a crescente competitividade do mercado, há uma maior necessidade de melhorar a
eficiência geral de processos internos para responder melhor à procura. Através da
implementação de técnicas avançadas de automação da produção e novas estratégicas de
manutenção, podem-se ajudar empresas a abordar este desafio e satisfazer a procura dos
clientes.
Hoje em dia, é possível apontar três objetivos de maneira a que as empresas sejam capazes de
manter a sua competitividade: custos reduzidos, qualidade ótima de produto e tempos de
produção menores. Para esse fim, a manutenção pode ser um bem precioso uma vez que, pela
implementação de medidas preventivas e preditivas, disponibilizadas pelos desenvolvimentos
tecnológicos recentes, podem-se atacar estes objetivos simultâneamente.
Nesta dissertação, foi feito um estudo nos grupos de cola das orladoras da Ikea Industry
Portugal, de maneira a prevenir falhas, evitando impactar a produção. Adicionalmente,
conseguimos encontrar tanto meios, rotinas e ações implementáveis de modo a reduzir tanto o
número de falhas como o tempo gasto nestas.
With the growing competitiveness of the market, there is an increasing need to improve the overall efficiency of internal processes to better respond to the demand. Through the implementation of advanced automation techniques and new maintenance strategies, one could help companies tackle this challenge and satisfy the customers demand. Nowadays, one could point out three goals so that companies are able to maintain competitive: reduced costs, optimal product quality and lower production times. To that end, maintenance may prove a valuable asset as, through the implementation of preventive and predictive measures, made available by the recent technological developments, one can tackle each goal simultaneously. In this thesis, it is conducted a study on the glue groups on the IKEA Industry Portugal edgers, in order to prevent breakdowns and avoid impacting production. Additionally, we were able to find both means, routines and implementable actions to reduce both the number of failures and the time spent with them.
