The music gains a new importance in the life of Rodrigo, a karaoke singer claiming to be more than that because he is always trying to add something new to his performances. To him, singing is a response to the need of becoming something else in the context of his hard and sometimes dramatic life. His career is haunted by jealousy, unworthiness and lack of respect for his work. But at the end of every performance ends up with a smile on his face.
