“Entre Nós”: projeto de intervenção psicossocial com uma família em contexto de CAFAP

Abstract(s)
O presente relatório, denominado “Entre Nós” retrata o desenvolvimento de um projeto de intervenção psicossocial desenvolvido com uma família, segundo a metodologia de Investigação-Ação Participativa. Esta metodologia é particularmente relevante quando se pretende resgatar com as pessoas espaços-tempo de transformação e contribuir para uma mudança efetiva nas suas vidas. A finalidade do presente projeto foi contribuir para a quebra de ciclos de exclusão
social de uma família multidesafiada com particular enfoque no empoderamento da Avó Estrela e da proteção e promoção do desenvolvimento da Flor. Para alcançar esta finalidade delinearam-se duas ações: a primeira, centrada na Família Vilar e no processo de promoção e proteção da Flor e a segunda ação focada na Avó Estrela e no seu desenvolvimento pessoal. Este foi um projeto desenvolvido com a família e contou também com o contributo da equipa técnica de um Centro de
Apoio Familiar e Aconselhamento Parental.
O Centro de Apoio Familiar e Aconselhamento Parental apresenta-se como sendo uma resposta social que intervém com famílias, estabelecendo uma relação privilegiada de proximidade sempre que existem crianças ou jovens em situação de vulnerabilidade. Assim, o projeto desenvolveu-se nesta lógica de intervenção, promovendo a proximidade à família e estimulando a mudança a partir das potencialidades do sistema familiar, bem como das competências individuais. Os
momentos de reflexão conjunta foram sempre privilegiados como método para uma intervenção consciente e respeitadora. Embora não se tenha conseguido alcançar todos os objetivos definidos, o projeto contribuiu para uma mudança efetiva nas vidas das pessoas.
The present report, entitled “Between Us”, portrays the development of a psychosocial intervention project implemented with a family, following the methodology of Participatory Action Research. This methodology is particularly pertinent when the aim is to reclaim, together with individuals, spaces and times of transformation, thereby contributing to effective change in their lives. The purpose of this project was to contribute to the disruption of cycles of social exclusion within a multi-challenged family, with particular emphasis on the empowerment of Grandmother Estrela and on the protection and promotion of Flor’s development. To achieve this aim, two main actions were outlined: the first centred on the Vilar Family and on the process of promoting and safeguarding Flor’s well-being, and the second focused on Grandmother Estrela and her personal development. This project was developed in collaboration with the family and also benefited from the contribution of the technical team of a Family Support and Parental Counselling Centre. The Family Support and Parental Counselling Centre constitutes a social response that works with families by establishing a privileged relationship of proximity whenever children or young people are in situations of vulnerability. In this context, the project was developed within this logic of intervention, fostering closeness to the family and stimulating change based on the strengths of the family system as well as on individual competences. Moments of joint reflection were consistently prioritized as a method for ensuring an intervention that is both conscious and respectful. Although not all of the predefined objectives were achieved, the project nonetheless contributed to an effective change in people’s lives.
