Abstract(s)
Ver através do espelho, múltiplos olhares é um exercício de reflexão acerca de um elemento frequentemente referenciado na cenografia e nas artes – o espelho – e um exercício de investigação multidisciplinar que tem este elemento como ponto de partida.
Procurando um entendimento abrangente do objecto especular no âmbito das ciências sociais e na sua interligação com as artes, este trabalho debruça-se sobre a importância e significações que o espelho adquire hoje. O olhar e a relação entre observador-observado, sujeito-objecto, adquirem uma importância maior quando nos referimos ao espaço teatral/performático ‘habitado’ por intermédio de um terceiro elemento potenciador de relações (o espelho).
A partir do enunciado de um exercício prático, experimentado em forma de convite-especular, foram convocados vários artistas portugueses, de várias artes, para trabalhar sobre o fragmento-espelho dado. As reacções dos vários artistas espelham vários olhares inéditos, a partir dos quais se intercala um entendimento sobre o espelhamento dos artistas na actualidade, e uma experimentação com base nesta matéria obtida para se transformar num outro espelho/espaço/plataforma criativa.
Neste trabalho, pretende-se criar a partir do espelho, criar a partir de outros criadores/ criações, estimular uma plataforma e um processo de trabalho que abra caminho a possibilidades múltiplas através do cruzamento disciplinar.
Looking throught the mirroir, multiple views is a reflection exercice about a frequently referenced element in the set design and arts in general – the mirror – and an exercise in multidisciplinary research that has this element as a starting point. Looking for a comprehensive understanding of the specular object in the social sciences and his interconnection with the arts, this work focuses on the importance and significance that the mirror acquires today. The look and the relationship between observer-observed, subjectobject, acquire greater importance when we refer to the theatrical/performative space 'inhabited' by a third element enhancer of relations (the mirror). From the framework of a practical exercise, experienced in the form of specular invitation, were summoned several Portuguese artists from various arts, to work on the fragment mirror given. The reactions of the artists reflect several unique looks, from which merges in one way an understanding of the mirroring of artists today, and in the other way an experimentation based on this material obtained to turn in another mirror/space/creative platform. In this work, we intend to create out of the mirror, create out of other artist’s works, stimulating a platform and a work process that opens the door to many opportunities through cross disciplinary.
