Este ensaio, de âmbito curricular, pretende fundamentar genericamente a importância da profundidade de campo no cinema e, em particular, na curta metragem “Inversos”, tendo em conta as implicações que ela tem na relação entre a obra cinematográfica e o espetador.
Como na realização da curta-metragem “Inversos” se optou por um cinema analítico, dada a especificidade da história percorrer um universo subjetivo/emocional, em detrimento do mundo real, quisemos então provar que as opções usadas na curta-metragem, no que respeita à Profundidade de Campo, foram decisivas na forma como construímos a fotografia do filme.
This essay, within the scope of the curriculum, aims at establishing, in a general way, the importance of depth of field in film and, particulary, in the short film “Inversos”, given the implications it has on the relationship between a cinematographic work and the audience. Since it was chosen an analytical cinema in the direction of the short film “Inversos”, given the specificity of the subjective/emotional universe where the story takes place, against the real world, we wanted to show that the options chosen for the short film, in that that concerns depth of field, were decisive in the way that the photography of the film was built.
