Insulin resistance is an important compo nent in the development of metabolic syndrome and lifestyle-related diseases. The aim of the present study is to investigate the relationship between insulin resistance (IR), adiposity, cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) and dietary intake among Azorean adolescents.
